pendant 297 - 281 BC Solid silver coin designed in a modern Vermeil
seating of 22KT gold plate finish over pure silver. Depicts a portrait
of the deified Alexander the Great with the royal diadem and ram's horns
that identify him as the son of Zeus Ammon. On the reverse, a seated Athena
with spear and shield, her right hand extended on which stands the figure
of Nike. Nike crowns the first letter of Lysimachus's name. The lion's
head on Athena's shield may also refer to Lysimachus.

pendant 315 BC Solid silver Alexander the Great tetradrachm designed in a modern circular
Vermeil setting of 22KT gold plate finish over pure silver. Alexander the
Great was the first world conqueror and one of the most remarkable men
in history, his armies capturing most the civilized world. He not only
introduced a uniform currency system, but promoted trade and commerce.
Desiring to be supreme ruler, all provinces were required to worship him
as a god. Alexander believed he was a direct descendant of Hercules. Before
each battle and after each victory, ritual sacrifices were performed honoring
both Hercules and Zeus and he selected their images to appear on these
coins.

of 22KT gold plate finish over pure silver. In legend, Thessaly was the
home of the great Greek warrior Achilles, and also of Jason, who led the
Argonauts in search of the Golden Fleece. Depicts the head of a nymph,
the hair confined by a fillet and floating loosely. On the reverse, a horse
grazes.

before his arrival in Egypt, which appears to have been closer to a triumphal
procession than an invasion. Bronze socketed arrowheads that may have actually
been used by Alexander’s armies.
