Hand-painted wooden Christ Pantocrator triptych icon on a golden background with a sterling silver border. Christ Pantocrator is a conception of Jesus as the Almighty, or "Ruler of All Things". Jesus is presented in a half length pose, looking directly at the viewer, with his left hand holding the Sacred Word. On each side of the halo are the Greek letters: IC and XC. The IC represents the first and last letters of Jesus, and the letters XC represent the first and last letters of Christ in Greek. The side panels show standing winged angels.
