These tools were likely used to cut plants or meat but may have also served as weapons when hunting animals for food. Ancient Artifacts - Roman Molds
Bronze octagon shaped one-sided jewelry mold, used for making jewelry such as pendants, earrings, etc. The jewelry was made by the "lost wax" technique, which was widely known from the Late Bronze Age onwards. This technique involves the following stages: two stone or terracotta molds are made with the form of the jewelry worked on them in reverse, in intaglio. Precisely half the piece was carved on each mold. Molten wax was poured into these molds, which was then replaced by molten metal. This particular mold is especially for necklaces and earrings.

Bronze coin with a male portrait and wreath headband on one side, the letters SC around a column with inscriptions on the other side.
