Solid bronze knife with decorative hilt and incised linear geometric design on the blade. The hilt depicts two standing figures with stretched arms reaching to the top of the hilt. Covered in green patina.

The Kentauros, once accidentally wounded by Herakles with a Hydra-venom-coated arrow, was unable to endure the pain and voluntarily relinquished his immortality and died. In recompense he was given a place among the stars of heaven as the Constellation Saggitarius.
