Carved light green variegated jade, a dragon-like creature with a single horn with a long tongue touching its chest walks with another smaller dragon-like creature without a horn on its back with its head looking towards the back. Earthen patina.

Antique Asian iron Foo Dog statue
Hollow Iron Foo Dog crouched with its left paw on top of a ball against its body. Foo Dogs are really lions, the proud Mother of the feline race. Although lions were not indigenous to China, lion artwork and sculptures were imported gifts to the emperor. Later introduced in Chinese primitive art, the lion became associated with Buddhism as the defender of law and protector of sacred buildings. Traces of gold gilding.
