Dark green stone wall fragment depicting two hunters on a chariot carried by a horse, one of the hunters hunting a lion running behind them, on the front of the horse, another lion attacking. In Greek mythology, Poseidon is said to have created the horse. In Roman mythology, it is believed that the sun was carried across the sky by a team of winged bridled horses. As a symbol of wealth, prestige and status, the horse has been one of man’s most useful animals for thousands of years. Very rare, beautiful and attractive.
