Lot of 3: Mesopotamian bronze horned goat statue on a base, Syrian bronze face pendant, and a Roman bronze bearded Herakles with the hands clinched, the robe draped over the left arm. Herakles, the Roman name for the greatest hero in Greek mythology. Like most authentic heroes, Herakles had a God as one of his parents: the son of the supreme deity Zeus and a mortal woman, Alcmene. Herakles was the God of strength and performed twelve labors for which he is famous. Deep rich green patina.
