Authentic ancient Egyptian light green glazed faience Ushabti with ten rows of hieroglyphics. In the shape of a mummy with hoe and pick, a tripartite wig that falls on top of the rectangular back pillar, chin beard, slightly smiling mouth, straight nose, broad forehead, eyebrows, seed pack on the back. Often called "Servants of the Afterlife", Ushabtis were placed in the tomb of the Mummy and were intended to be servants that would magically come to life and do any chore the Mummy might be called upon to perform in the afterlife. 26th Dynasty
