Carved from a solid piece of wood, a nude figure sits with legs slightly bent, hands to the abdomen, elongated neck, almond shaped eyes, the body with scarification. Natural dark patina.
Japanese sword and scabbard
The name of the Japanese maker and the sun are engraved onto the surface of the short blade. The scabbard has a wooden core that is covered in gold metal sheeting that has the traditional diamond shaped and chrysanthemum patterns etched onto the surface along with a row of Japanese characters on one side, a dragon on the other. The hilt has metal sheeting with more Japanese characters.
