Cycladic Black Basalt female, Late Spedos Variety, circa 2400 BC, of the folded arm type with short legs, flattened feet, the stylized body with widely spaced breasts, the slender arms crossed, left over right, at the waist, the pubic area indicated by a grooved triangle, the head missing. Covered with an earthen encrustation. Comes mounted on a base.
