Egyptian light green limestone heart scarab, once placed on the throat, chest, or heart of the Mummy. Some were worn by the deceased on a necklace, or mounted in gold settings as a pectoral. Heart scarabs provided the bearer with the assurance that at the final judgment as depicted in the Book of the Dead, the bearer would be found ”True of Voice” and accepted into the eternal afterlife by the God Osiris. At the bottom, five lines of hieroglyphics including an Eye of Horus, birds, a bee, and a cartouche, with a cartouche on the top. 18th Dynasty.

Homo Habilis stone hand axe. Fits easily into the palm with indented area for the thumb. These tools were likely used to cut plants or meat but may have also served as weapons when hunting animals for food. Roman artifacts glass
Glass blowing was discovered around the middle of the 1st century BC and was probably the greatest single advance in glass technology. Dark Blue mold-blown bottle with long neck, rolled rim, a face to either side, iridescence and encrustation. Excellent condition and very attractive.
