Egyptian light green limestone heart scarab, once placed on the throat, chest, or heart of the Mummy. Some were worn by the deceased on a necklace, or mounted in gold settings as a pectoral. Heart scarabs provided the bearer with the assurance that at the final judgment as depicted in the Book of the Dead, the bearer would be found ”True of Voice” and accepted into the eternal afterlife by the God Osiris. At the bottom, seven lines of hieroglyphics and Egyptian symbols, with a winged scarab and cartouche on the top. 18th Dynasty.

A Bronze teardrop-shaped jewelry mould, used for making jewelry such as pendant, earrings, etc. The jewelry were made by the ”lost wax” technique, which was widely known from the Late Bronze Age onwards. This technique involves the following stages: two stone or clay moulds are made with the form of the jewelry worked on them in reverse, in intaglio. Precisely half the piece was carved on each mould. Molten wax was poured into these moulds, which was then replaced by molten metal.
