Often called "Servants of the Afterlife”, Ushabtis were placed in the tomb of the Mummy and were intended to be servants that would magically come to life and do any chore the Mummy might be called upon to perform in the afterlife. Silver Romulus and Remus coin with a side portrait of a ruler, on the reverse, Romulus and Remus being nursed by a she-wolf. Amulius, fearing that Romulus and Remus would grow up to overthrow him, had them placed in a trough and thrown into the River Tiber where they were later found by a she-wolf who, instead of killing them, looked after them and fed them with her milk.
