Terracotta Ushabti "overseer of the Army" with red, beige, green, brown, yellow, and black paint to the surface, with four lines of hieroglyphics and a seated Anubis symbol to the feet. Often called "Servants of the Afterlife”, Ushabtis were placed in the tomb of the Mummy and were intended to be servants that would magically come to life and do any chore the Mummy might be called upon to perform in the afterlife. Covered in an earthen encrustation. 18th Dynasty
