Two-piece bulbous shaped hollow Bronze container with lid, footed fish fin pedestal base, the surface with two incised scaled standing fish on either side, stomach to stomach with their mouths opening to the top of the vessel, the two narrow sides with raised decorative dragon motifs and rings. Traces of green patina with earthen encrustations.
Homo Erectus stone hand axe. Fits easily into the palm with indented area for the thumb. These tools were likely used to cut plants or meat but may have also served as weapons when hunting animals for food. Most tools were clearly intended to be used by the bare hands although some were fitted to wooden handles. Great Rift Valley, Africa
Carved light green limestone heart scarab, once placed on the throat, chest, or heart of the mummy. An image of Horus on the top, hieroglyph symbols including a winged bee at the bottom. Some were worn by the deceased on a necklace, or mounted in gold settings as a pectoral. Heart scarab provided the bearer with the assurance that at the final judgment as depicted in the Book of the Dead, the bearer would be found "True of Voice" and accepted into the eternal afterlife by the God Osiris. Rare. 18th Dynasty.
