Solid silver Alexander the Great Tetradrachm struck at the Amphipolis mint sometime between 315 BC and 294 BC. In the right field an inscription meaning (Money of) Alexander, while on the left field contains the marks or symbols of the mint's Magistrates. Mounted in a modern rope braid Vermeil setting in a 22 karat gold plate finish over pure silver. At the top of the setting, the head of a lion.
