Finely carved from a solid piece of translucent Golden Amber Quan Yin (Kuan Yin), Chinese goddess of mercy, seated on a lotus base, in an elaborate headdress, serene downcast expression, slit eyes, elongated earlobes, pouting lips, the central foliate projection with a diminutive seated Buddha, one hand in blessing, the other with prayer mode.
