Black Basalt Buddha seated in dhyanasana on a throne enclosed in a niche, the aureole incised with lotus flower garlands, delicately incised calligraphy, his oval face with a peaceful expression, small bow-shaped mouth, heavy lidded almond-shaped eyes, finely arched eyebrows, elongated lobes, the hair surmounted by a usnisa. Covered with a light earthen patina.
