Ancient Egyptian cartonnage mummy mask

Cartonnage mummy mask once was used to cover the head of a mummy. Made from linen and gesso and then painted. Bright colors of red, green, black and browns. Depicts the mummy with wide staring eyes and cloth nemes, which terminate with the image of a cobra. Board decorative collar with geometric designs and lotus flowers. Secured to the linen backing. Ptolemaic period.
