Indian pottery 1000 - 1200 AD

Moundbuilder’s Culture. The artistry of the moundbuilders, perhaps reaching a zenith in 1000 - 1500 AD, was devoted largely to luxury goods for the wealthy, many of which they took to the grave. Covered in a dark patina, spherical in shape with a footed pedestal base, wide mouth, rolled lip, a band of geometric lines incised onto the surface. In excellent condition.
American antiquities are authentic historical relics and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
