Moundbuilder’s Culture. A name given to Native Americans who built a number of earthen mounds in what is now the Eastern and Central parts of the United States, particularly in the Ohio and Mississippi River valleys. Covered in a dark patina, spherical in shape with a footed pedestal base, wide mouth, rolled lip, a band of geometric lines incised onto the surface. In excellent condition.
