Lot of 10 ancient Roman nails. Before leaving, the Romans tore down the fortifications, burned the buildings and transported all the equipment they could move. What they could not move, they buried. The equipment they buried included eight tons of nails. If these had fallen into enemy hands, they could have furnished them with a million arrowheads to be used with devastating effect against the retreating Legionaries. Covered in a green patina.
