Asian shrine

Bronze shrine, the central image of Buddha seated in dhyanasana on a high throne, his hands in vitarka and dhyana mudras. Wears a sanghati, his oval face with almond-shaped eyes slightly downcast, his ears with elongated lobes, his hair surmounted by a domed usnisa. Two attendants stand on either side. At the base, two guardian lions. In low relief, the back is covered with other attendants and an areole of stylized flames. Traces of gold gilding and a green patina.
