Asian statue

This statue of Chinese goddess of mercy with multi hands wearing one leaf crown, is carved from a solid piece of variegated red & white Jade and is depicted seated on a lotus base wearing an elaborate costume and headdress. Serene downcast expression, slit eyes, elongated earlobes and pouting lips, holding prayers in one hand, a flower in one hand, offerings in one hand and other hands in prayer. Covered in a light earthen patina.
