Sometimes burying their objects, the figure of a half-human, half-jaguar creature was thought to be a god and occurred often in their art. Carved from Dark Brown variegated stone, a seated grotesque-faced creature with protruding horns, an enormous head, bulging eyes, elongated ears and pouting lips.
