The hollow hilt and blade made from one solid bronze piece, the base of the blade with open fretwork, the flared hilt with a decorative raised pattern to the surface, the blade with decorative engravings, some of which are raised, the hilt with a figure peering out, the opposite side with a similar pattern. Covered in a dark patina with traces of a vivid green patina.
