Slightly curved sword with the name of the Japanese maker incised onto the blade, the scabbard with a wooden base covered in gold metal sheeting , the traditional diamond and chrysanthemum patterns etched onto the surface, Japanese characters to the sides, the hilt with a metal woven cloth-like motif.
