Solid silver Alexander the Great tetradrachm designed in a modern rope braid Vermeil setting of 22 karat gold plate finish over pure silver, the top of the setting with the head of a lion, the reverse with Zeus enthroned, an eagle perched on his outstretched right, a scepter in his left. The legs are together, indicating this coin was struck while Alexander was alive.
